MIKE BOLT, BOLT.SHRED.BEER
Mike was born and grew up in Vancouver, Wa. After graduating from Columbia High School, he moved to Montana to attend the University of Montana. After graduation, he had no idea what he truly wanted to do as a career. While in Montana, Mike fell in love with the beer in Missoula and had an extreme passion for it. So he decided to move back to Portland, Oregon and make a career out of working in the craft-beverage industry. He started working in the wine industry, then moved from there to craft cider and finally into the craft-beer industry, most recently working at Oregon City Brewery and Fortside Brewing in Vancouver.
Although he loved where he worked, Mike wasn’t completely satisfied as he longed for his own pursuit in craft beer. He has chosen to take his love and passion for craft beer home to Vancouver, Wa., where the craft-beer scene is starting to blossom. Mike loves craft beer and loves to share beer and stories with others. Mike often says, “Let’s grab a pint and be RAD!”
